Trained in music theory and production / composition, I started playing guitar at 12 and have played over 200 shows in France and abroad. Rock, pop, blues — and also jazz and classical to open my students' ears.
A guitarist first, I'm also a multi-instrumentalist and sound engineer. Day to day I play guitar, bass, ukulele and drums, I sing, play harmonica and compose with DAW. For lessons I currently teach guitar, ukulele, bass and drums.
I spend a large part of my time on production and composition, constantly refining my mixing skills. For mastering, I work with a trusted partner engineer.
My approach won't leave you indifferent: you learn by playing a song you love, with no music theory forced on you. As I often say: you learn to speak before you learn to read and write.

Why the Rat?
The story behind the logo
People often ask "why a rat?" Far from the clichés, the rat is an underrated yet essential creature. It's the perfect emblem of my philosophy — for a few very personal and universal reasons:
- A story of roots:
In Tamil, the language of South India where I grew up, my first name (Elie) literally means "rat" or "mouse." An obvious nod to anchor the studio's identity in my own story.
- Intelligence from the shadows:
Recent findings have shattered the clichés: rats are highly intelligent, empathetic, and… they laugh. They're also shadow workers — like a producer polishing a mix in the studio — and tireless researchers experimenting endlessly for the perfect sound.
- A necessary rodent:
In nature, the rat cleans, recycles and keeps the balance. In the studio, I sort frequencies, clean tracks and keep the essentials to build harmony.
The rat doesn't bother with frills. Agile, authentic, deeply connected to what matters.
